Hurricane Benefit at The High Dive!

If you’ve checked our schedule page, you’ll notice that we’re airing a special in-studio performance at KBFG with local Seattle band Karmic Unrest, and also Annie O’Neill w/ Amy Denio on Thursdays at 9pm and Saturdays at 12am. KBFG volunteer Mackenzie McAninch interviewed the musicians while they were in the studio, which can all be heard on the broadcast. Mackenzie is also helping to organize the benefit that the artists were in to promote, a Hurricane benefit show at The High Dive in Fremont on Wednesday, November 22nd; a benefit for the ASPCA for all the work they’ve done for animals effected by hurricanes recently in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico. To pay tribute, all of the artists performing music that night will play at least one song from an artist who is originally from Texas, Florida or Puerto Rico. There will be fantastic silent auction items and raffle prizes to win! This event is hosted by Rick Friel, and will feature Screens, Blood Moon Orchestra, Annie O’Neill/Amy Denio, Karmic Unrest, The Drunken Guitarists and a special pin-up dance performance by The Loredonna Pinup Dancers.
