Nobody knows how to Celebrate the Sound of Tomorrow like Fulcrum. This great event sponsored by Brown Paper Tickets and the Pike Place Market was an opportunity for the area LPFM applicants to mingle. Everyone got a chance to speak and to “echo their thank you’s” to Sabrina for the big assist in helping all the applicants with the process.

Sabrina had the best line of the event, saying, “Seriously, guys, it’s just connecting the dots.”

We heard some great ideas for what community radio could be. Each of the applicant groups were focused (as we are) on youth education and multi-lingual programming. Here’s Morgan and Pam on behalf of Fulcrum:

It was particularly exciting to know that while each of the 15 groups won’t get a frequency, they all welcomed each other to participate.
